Tonya Bardsher is a Certified Nurse Practitioner with deep roots in Southwest Oklahoma and a lifelong connection to the communities she serves. Originally from Elgin, Oklahoma, Tonya grew up in a local family with strong ties to agriculture and Fort Sill. Both of her parents worked in civil service at Fort Sill, and her father was also a cattle farmer. Those early experiences helped shape her appreciation for the hardworking families and rural communities of Southwest Oklahoma.

Tonya pursued her education at Cameron University, the University of Oklahoma, and Purdue Global, ultimately becoming a Certified Nurse Practitioner in 2019. During her nursing education at the University of Oklahoma, she was a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the international nursing honor society. She brings years of nursing and advanced-practice experience to Kadivar Family Medicine, along with a strong commitment to providing compassionate, personalized care and building lasting relationships with her patients.

Long before entering medicine, Tonya was active throughout the Southwest Oklahoma community. She was named Miss Elgin and later Miss Lawton in 1986, which gave her the opportunity to compete in the Miss Oklahoma Pageant at just 17 years old. While growing up in Elgin, she was also involved in cheerleading and pom squad.
